Beta 2026

Cabinets that fit your niche, to the centimetre.

A search engine for cabinets by exact width, height and depth across many shops. The beta has no products yet: guides for 30 common sizes and a niche calculator, run as an SEO experiment to see whether the pages find visitors first.

The problem

Shops filter cabinets by a few width steps and rarely by depth. Listings write sizes as W×H×D, H×W×D or just three numbers, so a 30 cm gap next to the washing machine means opening dozens of product pages and doing the maths yourself.

Use it to

  • Work out how wide a cabinet for the 30 cm gap next to the washing machine can be.
  • Check whether a shallow cabinet still takes A4 binders or clothes hangers.
  • Check the tilt clearance before you buy a tall wardrobe for a low room.
  • Later: compare cabinets of one size across shops instead of filtering each shop on its own.

What it does

01

Niche calculator

Subtracts air for hinged doors, protruding handles and skirting boards, and checks the tilt clearance against the room height.

02

A guide per size

What the size means in practice, how to measure for it and what to watch for with the cabinet type.

03

Dimensions you can trust

For the product search: a parser reads labelled sizes in any axis order, unlabelled triples go to an LLM, and unsure answers are dropped.

04

Clear about the beta

Every page says there are no products yet, so nobody arriving from Google is misled.

05

Nothing from third parties

A static site: no cookies, no tracking, no scripts or fonts from other servers.

Traction first

The beta is a static SvelteKit site on Cloudflare: 30 prerendered guide pages and a calculator that runs in the browser. No database, no tracking. Whether the pages find visitors shows up in Google Search Console, and the stop criteria were written before launch.

Which number is the depth?

The product search is built for stage 2. A deterministic parser handles every labelled format (B/H/T: 80/190/40 cm, HxBxT 1900x800x400 mm, 17 cm tief). Three bare numbers are never guessed: Claude assigns the axes with structured output and a confidence level, and anything below medium stays out of the search.

A workbench and a shop window

Affiliate feeds will be imported on my machine into a local SQLite file, where the parser and the LLM pass run and the API keys live. Only the searchable rows go online.
